Eric Swaim

My primary interest lies in music and I have consistently worked as a songwriter, recording artist and live performer for the past two decades. While I feel no need to explain or categorize my work (or any creative works for that matter), a pattern has emerged that reflects my love of counter culture legacies and classic punk philosophy. One could use descriptors such as indie, alternative or various post-whateverisms, but as an artist I strive only to transmit signals that I find exciting.  I’m a firm believer that the best songs write themselves. 

I am also deeply interested in social design and regularly utilize elements of storytelling, graphic design and media production to develop materials for both professional and educational means.  I am passionate about collective liberation and encourage you to be too. For me this means a commitment to community and critical consciousness.  It also means practicing a vegan lifestyle and striving every day to consume less and create more.
